Market Watch: Housing Shortage Affecting Sales

January 12, 2018 Market

The Montreal real estate market continues to be hotter than ever and buyers are lining up to purchase homes in various areas. The problem Montreal is now facing is that there are fewer and fewer houses for sale. This shortage is affecting sales, as we can see from the most recent statistics. Only 177 homes sold in 2017, compared to 191 homes sold in 2016. The lack of properties on the market is even causing homes to be sold before they reach the MLS.

I am committed to bringing the right buyers and sellers together for the perfect fit. One of the continued services I provide for all my clients is free home evaluations. If you’re not quite ready to sell but are still interested to know what your home could be worth, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
