Défi Canderel: Team Wenes Runs for the Cure

The Défi Canderel started as an act of love, when my aunt, Susan Wener, was diagnosed with cancer in 1989. My uncle, Jonathan Wener, wanted to do everything in his power to help. The result was the birth of the Défi Canderel – a fundraiser that has now contributed over 12 million dollars to cancer research for the Goodman Cancer Research Centre at McGill and the Montreal Cancer Institute at the University of Montreal.

In honour of Jonathan and Susan and in hopes of a cancer-free world, my cousins and their families will be running once again this year to find a cure. Please help us in making this a reality. The girls have set a goal of 10,000$ and need your help to reach that amount by May 11th, 2017.
