March 24 Update

I hope that you are staying safe, healthy, and vigilant during these unprecedented times. 

As Quebec enters the official #StayAtHome period, I would like to reassure you that I will continue to be available for all your real estate needs.

According to the provincial government, the real estate industry (brokers and brokerages) is not considered an essential business. Therefore, we currently fall under businesses that can no longer operate face-to-face. This means that visits, in-person offer presentations, and listing presentations will not be possible. Other real estate related businesses/services that have been declared non-essential:

• Inspectors; no inspections will take place therefore delays must be extended
• Bank evaluations; financing delays must be extended
• Land surveyors; no certificates of location will be issued at this time

Buyers and sellers scheduled to notarize transactions between now and April 13 can breathe a sigh of relief because it was announced today that notaries are declared an essential service. If you are currently in a real estate transaction with me, please contact me about what your notary is doing to maintain covid-19 practices as well as ensure your transaction is moving forward. What I am Offering

For clients who are considering buying or selling, I am offering the opportunity to schedule a Zoom video conference call with me so that I may provide evaluations, help prepare your home with staging advice and/or help you asses your home buying needs so that we’re ready to go when the time comes. To schedule a zoom meeting please email info@carlyfridman.com. 

Some great news- on top of all the current marketing we’re doing, several of my properties will be available to view as virtual 3D tours by the beginning of next week. Stay tuned to my website for updates. Listings are still trickling onto the market and hopefully virtual visits for those properties will be made available.
